Bottom post of the previous page:

I'm afraid I'm going to have to withdraw from the hotlap competition. A very disturbing and time consuming problem has suddenly appeared concnering my school, so I will no longer have the time to set any respectable times (I wonder if I'm going to have time for GPL at all in the coming weeks).

Anyway, good luck to the rest of you

Sad to read you have to withdraw. :sorrow:

Maybe next time. I think we could do this hotlap competition on a regular base, through the year.

I did 1'04"17 and I lost almost 0"2 on the first sector. I've got good sector times but I can't do a good lap.
Sometimes I hate GPL

Final standings
jpalesi - 51.03
Cheeveer - 51.58
PTRACER - 51.77
ReneLotus - 52.25
erwin greven - 53.17
SB - 53.38
PTfan54 - 54.823
Final official standings. Everyone seemed quite equal for the most part of the lap, while Jacob and jpalesi were a lot faster than the rest of us.

PTfan54's best time was set on lap 13, so it cannot be accepted. The best lap he did within the first 8 laps was a 54.823s lap.

I was under the impression that it you started the 8 laps fron after you came out of the pits. Not from when you started the session. Remind me again why we need the silly set number of laps rule. Why can't we just post our best time?

...because some of us have time to sit there for 100 laps trying to get a fast lap in, while others don't.
