Are they no longer qualifying for races?

How does a typical cup weekend look like, in terms of sessions?

This guy is a legend, hes offering 15k to unsponsored trucks this weekend to run Camping World, Gander Outdoors or Overton's on them.

IMO I find Ken Squier to fit that description better.

Hendrick Motorsports is quickly closing in on Petty Enterprises for the most wins as a team in the cup series, although the Petty tally doesn't include the 5 Richard Petty Motorsports wins

You know me ('should by now....)......... How very exciting........buuuuttt......

How many entries in races do each team have? I only remember Pete Hamilton ('70) and Kyle's stints as additionals to ye ol' #43 for Petty.

The only true test of teams achievement is the percentage of wins from number of entries (eg.: 5 cars in a race? 5 entries)

In this case, there's only one possible winner, GUAR-OWN-TEED!!!

it's NASCAR.....100%........with winners in every race it's ever "run"..... :D
Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end.....

Yeah Petty Enterprises hardly ever run with more then 2 cars, and when they did in the early 2000s, it started the beginning of the end for them financially, which is why it was baffling to see RPM take on four cars for 2009-10, digging them in another hole which was so deep they reportedly didn't pay their drivers for a certain time period. Unfortunately losing Bubba Wallace and his sponsorship $$$ didn't help for this year, but Erik Jones is certainly talented enough to get them back on the winners list.

For the record, Hendrick has 4,289 entries in their history, Petty Enterprises/RPM has 3,685, so Petty still has a better record.

Regarding the enbldened, what makes you think it's the drivers fault for not winning? I don't think they've putting cars capable on the track. ;)

The # of races?.......
4,289 and 3,685 in Cup (and GN back when that's what it was called)?! I find that hard to believe. No way.

I just counted Lee's races and it comes to less than 500 races (not all GN, either) so your talking about more than 7x that for Petty Enterprise's total....??? I ain't gonna even try figurin' Hendrick's...how may years have they been in Cup?

Maybe.....perhaps.....possibly.....that's entries in any NASCAR series, not just Cup(GN) which is what record we're talking about...?
