Not been a good week for NASCAR has it? JJ tests positive, and now the Xfinity teams seem to be revolting against NASCARS grandstanding and are carrying "stand for the flag" logos on their cars today (or something like that).
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.

Pfft the Mike Harmon Racing cars run at the back all day anyway. They’re the same team who run the Trump 2020 cars in Daytona.

Harvick goes back-to-back at Indy as Matt DiBenedetto and Austin Dillon crash.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

I was hoping Kenseth would pull one off!

Yeah, wouldna' mind that (I think....pull WHAT??? ); though I was more of a Kenseth fan back when he was with Roush as I've been a Roush fan since his 10 year, 10 IMSA Daytona 24 GTO/GTS class wins in a row. From '85 thru '93, ('didna' enter '94) and '95 (entered for PLN's 70th birthday win; RIP Paul )

Crikey, 'Johnny Carwash' in Victory lane. Not a name I associate with winning, although I seem to recall he had a decent outing once at Le Mans with Kremer. My memories of him are more with him getting in the way or catching fire in his F1 forays, jimclark wrote: ↑3 years ago YI've been a Roush fan since his 10 year, 10 IMSA Daytona 24 GTO/GTS class wins in a row. I see Lavaggi has a couple more in a 333SP, '99, Magny-Cours, and, a 333SP/Judd, 2001, Monza.Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑3 years agoCrikey, 'Johnny Carwash' in Victory lane. I was spectating at Daytona. 'Weak prototype field that year. IMSA was fizzling out.
I was more interested in the Roush, "Nobody's Fool" splashed all over the, car. 'Found out later 't'was Paul's latest movie he was promoting. (cute l'il movie at that)
Note the #70 the car was assigned for his b'day a few days earlier. My interest was piqued as I had split a beer with Paul in the paddock after practice one of my years in the "24" 15 years earlier. Quite the contrast....me in an underfunded team's GTU 911, Paul in one of the Barbour 935s. (He actually drove two at Le Mans that year. One to 2nd; the other to 8th.) He was one of the, if not THE, nicest, most unpretentious people, I've EVER met. We both DNF'd.
My mom loved all the camcorder shots I got of the car; even some coming straight at ya' nearly ground level with the camera through a hole in the fence just past the start/finish. I waved at him numerous times but don't know if he recognized me, he was busy braking and downshifting for T-1.
Aaaaaah..........see my signature....
Early Sunday morn', note the dirty nose..... https://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/ ... 05-070.jpg
