Ah, I see. Just another case of people being goofy on racing reference and reddit.

Some major schedule changes are coming, Chicagoland has confirmed that there will be no NASCAR or ARCA there next year, or any racing at all for that matter, so it looks like that track is going down the toilet less then 20 years after it was opened, while Kentucky is open to other racing series and events.

Rumored schedule, which will become official later today features 4 road courses, COTA, Road America, Sonoma, Watkins Glen and 2 Rovals at Indy and Charlotte. Bristol's first race as mentioned above will be dirt, which will mark the first modern era (1972 - present) NASCAR Cup series race held on dirt. Darlington and Atlanta will gain a race while Dover, Michigan and Texas will lose one, however Texas will gain the all-star race. Nashville Superspeedway will also join the schedule as revealed earlier this year, although it's far from your regular "Superspeedway". The Indy race will move back to the middle of August with Road America taking up 4th of July weekend. Playoffs will stay the same as this year. The Daytona Road Course will be run by those in The Clash, while Chicagoland and Kentucky will not feature.

Brennan Poole scores a career best 9th today.

Also, F**k the yellow line, should not be enforced on the final lap.

Chase Elliott has successfully had his penalty for yellow line overruled and it has instead been applied to Chris Buescher, who forced him down there.

Former driver Justin Marks is set to create a team for next year, with Daniel Suarez the likely driver. I still can't see Larson going to HMS because Chevrolet dumped him in the first place why would they want him back. Matt DiBenedetto's future is still unclear, but recent strong performances should help his cause.
