I don't expect to see Matsuura back.

Panther still has a seat open. P.J. Chesson and John Andretti may be candidates for it.

I doubt, but I hope, that John Andretti will get a fulltime. A bit past his prime. I feel that Chesson could do better with some half good equipment. What IRL needs is young American talent.

You mean metrosexual.

I meant Matsuura and Panther in my opening post, not Vision.

I still think the IRL will manage to get maybe 20+ cars for the season opener.

I can't see any more than 19 cars.

Sarah Fisher may or may not have sponsorship. Rahal and Panther are expected to field second entries, but nothing has been announced.

I'm not so sure.

Depends on if the unconfirmed one car entries join. I hope they do anyway!

Sarah Fisher has her own team?

Didn't know that.

Yeah. She is trying to set it up as a one car effort for this year.

Are they actually going to be able to fill a 33-car Indy 500 field this year? I'd be seriously dissappointed if they couldn't. The Indy 500 is almost unfailingly one of the most exciting races of the year.

Easily.

I have been concerned in the past, but not so much this year. The purse has increased and more owners want to run it.
