Which is funny considering that Arrow went nuts over the ESPN body issue shoot and forced SPM to shaft their PR-manager.

There's also the prospect of Felipe Nasr doing a part-time schedule in 2020. Foyt have confirmed the #14 as full time since some time back, the #4 is TBA as of yet. Santucci is still in the wings too.

A quick glance on the interwebs gives these cars as TBA still:

Foyt
#4 (FT/PT?)
#14 (FT)

SPAM
#7 (if nothing happens with Hinch - FT)

Carlin
#23 (FT)
#59 (FT)

Dale Coyne
#19 (FT - Santucci?)

ECR
#20 (road courses)
#21 FT)

Juncos
#32 (FT - here's hoping anyway)

Meyer Shank Racing
#60 (FT - an alliance with someone incoming?)

Which would net 25 FT entries if the #4, #32 and both the Carlin entries goes full-time. And that's still not counting a possible CGR entry for Askew. I don't think Chip will go FT with Askew, but he has an IMSA crew in need of work and the cost is practically the same for an IMSA entry as a FT Indycar entry, so here's hoping.

Hinch is a better driver than he’s given credit for. If anything IS average then it’s the team he’s racing for. Good for pulling the odd good result out of the hat, but that’s about it. And now they’ve linked up with the epitome of mediocrity... Zak Brown’s McLaren organization...

Throw into the mix that Hinch was in Australia driving at Bathurst for WAU the V8 team that Zak Brown part owns. Zak was at Bathurst over the weekend over the Japanese GP.

Still haven't seen that. I assume he got his tackle out for that sort of reaction?

@kals - I think of him as someone like Perez or Hulk. Deserves a spot on the grid, but you can't tell me he deserves a spot at Penske or the lead car at CGR or Andretti.

Not really, there's a crash helmet covering his modesty, nothing to write home about to be fair.

Of course when Danica done a similar photo shoot with a motorbike she was labelled as stunning, brave and an inspiration, plus she got applauded worldwide for posting a photo of herself naked in the kitchen with just apron covering her modesty during the Ricky era, yet Hinchcliffe doing the same is the social equivalent to kicking a puppy...

Nevermind moving to Mars, I want a ticket outside the solar system.

Not to mention Arrow wanting to kick Hinch out for the finale at Laguna Seca and put Askew in the car because they were so miffed with Hinch's photo shoot. Askew declined.

Indycar returned to Richmond today. And some minor household changes made to the aero screen. It looks better on the Penske than the CGR car. Head-on it still looks like someone plonked Ned Kelly's helmet on the car. Looks better from the side.

If they promise to never, ever show it from the front... I can cope :P.

Looks rather prototypey though from side-on though.

As expected, O'Ward has been released from RBR.

Has he? I know Vips has replaced him for SF finale, but I haven’t read that he’s been dropped from the Red Bull junior program.

I may have jumped the gun a little there as there's no confirmation anywhere on Pato being dropped from RBR all together. That said, not sure where this leaves in the junior program ladder.

Of course it raises questions about his ongoing involvement in the program. On the flip side, the Mexican GP is on the same weekend as the Super Formula finale. So...

Yeah, but does he have the Super License points to do a FP1 run?

To be granted a "Free Practice Only" superlicense the requirements are either competing in 6 F2 races or 25 superlicense points over the previous three seasons

2018 - Indy Lights Champion = 15 points
2017 - Pro Mazda 2nd = 7 points
2016 - Formula 4 3rd = 7 points

Also, if for some reason the FIA decided not to count some of those points Red Bull could request special consideration for O'Ward as he has competed in multiple Indycar, F2 and Super Formula races through 2019.
