Yeah, certain members over there don't seem to like it if someone sticks up posts that are too long for their attention span, or if someone posts something that goes against the grain. I'd like to think I don't come across as arrogant or anything as it's not my intention...

It's a shame as there are plenty of decent people over there and I don't plan on leaving. But there has always been a minority there who think they're above everyone else and like letting other members know that

There are also the people who don't think before they post. I admit I can be a bit guilty of that at times, but not all the time. There seem to be people who do it all the time.

Only a minority like you said though.

Hi. Might as well formally introduce myself

I'm James (quelle surprise). I'm 19 and from South Wales, although I'm currently living in Coventry while I'm studying History at Warwick University with an eye on going into motorsport journalism

I've been following various forms of motorsport since I was a toddler - F1, WRC, touring cars, endurance racing et all, pretty much anything really. I'm particularly interested in motorsport history

I offered my services to PT for the new website and hope to contribute articles. So I decided to register on the forum as well. Seems to have a nice atmosphere - hopefully I won't get whinged at for posts longer than 3 lines

Hope to be constructive in my contributions here

Hi, I'm known as raveinpeace (there is an acctual reason for this, its my dj name but I usually keep that to Dj R.I.P)

I will pretty much watch anything with 4 wheels & an engine race although my preference is the BTCC but I also love DTM, V8 Supercars & the WTCC. Im also a big Le Mans fan, 24hours, LMS & ALMS & I enjoy any rallying footage as well. I love to watch all the current action but am an avid collector of older racing footage, anything from the dawn of motor racing to more recent years gone by. Oh yes, if anyone would like to give me an Aston Martin DBR9 in either the british racing green colours or, better still, the Gulf livery, I would be eternally grateful!!

I am fortunate to be married to a wife that is fanatical about F1 so all my motor sport viewing is unquestioned!!

Music wise I produce many forms of dance music, mostly hardcore break beat rave but also dabble in house, D n B, chill out &, at the other extreme, hardcore/gabba techno. I also dj classic hardcore rave circa 1991-1993 mixed in with the newer hardcore break beat tunes which emulate the sound and/or style of the early hardcore dance tracks. I have had 4 vinyl releases on Repeat Offender Records & they have had plays on the net, various raves & at Glastonbury.

So, that's about it for me, Hi again!!
