A Formula 1 fan and especially the three time champion, Nelson Piquet.
This year I decided to see all the Formula 1 races since 1978 and I am currently in the 1982 season. Being in the home office helps a lot in this endeavor..

Yeah, it was remarkable, besides the tragedies. It is still the most competitive season in history I believe, 11 winners in 16 races. And a string of nine races with a different winner in each.
It is the only season I have watched in full from before my time (I started watching in 1996 and probably started watching every single race in 1997/8)

Agree... 1982 F1 season is one of a kind. I saw yesterday the Baldi / Mass crash in Paul Ricard from a viewer's angle on Youtube and I think is one of most brutal non fatal crash i've ever seen...

Yes, we have seen this here too. Mass walked away from F1 after that and no wonder.
