Hello
I'm new to the forum and I'm an amateur historian, currently researching Duesenberg racing, which happened between about 1912 and 1936. If you aren't familiar, Duesebergs were built by two brothers who really operated on a shoe string, but managed to compete at the highest levels. The famous "Model J" was built after they no longer owned the company, and although they did the design work, their idea of the perfect car would have been quite a bit smaller.

On that "note", about 25 years back I worked wit' a guy that disappeared for a couple of months. The next time I saw him I asked what happened to him. He took time off from work to play trumpet for K.C. during a summer tour. I thought that was kinda neat.
