I wonder if Quartar will choke again this year or continue his recent form. Have to say he rode a solid race today after a bad start. MM looked pretty rooted after the race but still finished 7th. Whats with Rins and Zarco? Got what Quartararo had last year.
Vinales was lucky everyone else fell off and snagged a few points way down the order.

Well, Quartararo looked the man to beat after Jerez last year before it all fell apart. I wouldn't crown his ass just yet ;)

The race lost its vibe when the falls started happening. Gutted for Rins and Zarco.

Im not counting any chickens just yet. Not after his total choking last year when it was his to lose.
Plus it looks like MM will be back in the race winning zone sooner rather than later.

Well, I won't be surprised if Mir's consistency carries him into the title chase once again. Yamaha won all three races but they are masters of blowing hot & cold.

Btw, Rossi can't fucking retire soon enough. He might have a worst farewell run than Dani Pedrosa.

Tito Rabat will stand in for the injured Jorge Martin at Pramac for the Spanish Grand Prix following Jorge's crash and injuries at Portimao. Jorge was awaiting surgery on his fractured ankle and hand.... the delay caused as they were unwilling to perform surgery whilst he is recovering from concussion and the knock on the head he took.

Actually by now Jorge will likely have had the surgery which was scheduled for Wednesday.

Rabat is also available for the French GP should he be required, as his WSBK season (with Ducati supported Barni Racing) does not start until May 21st

I think Ducati felt a bit guily to move Tito aside for this year so they gave him this as a parting gift.

MM, even if he doesn't admit it, will have to play much more carefully than he ever did. Another injury in the same place and it ain't just a year.
You know what it says about areas broken once and rejoined?
In German it would be just the one word 'Sollbruchstelle'. English calls it 'predetermined breaking point'.

Huge crash for MM93 in FP3.... he walked away from it but went to the medical centre who found nothing beyond "just" cervical contusions. He was cleared to continue. However as a precaution he also went to a local hospital for more scans and stuff but AFAIK was again given the all clear to race.
Everyone covered by 1.5 seconds! Qualy should be fun.

Quatararo was looking like he had the GP sewn having dropped to 4th from pole but making his way back to lead comfortably.... then he lost a second in one lap allowing Miller to close up and pass. Now Bagnaia has also passed Quatararo who seems to have suddenly lost performance. It does not seem like a tyre issue, but he now has a train behind him.

Now he has dropped to 4th. Make that 5th. He has now also lost the championship lead.

7 laps to go

Make that 7th.

Miller is a shade under 2 seconds ahead of Bagnaia with 5 laps to go.
Could he wins his first ever dry GP? Plus his first win on the factory Ducati.

Ducati have historically been poor at Jerez as well.... not won since there 2005.

Now Bagnaia is closing in on Miller, with the gap down to 1.5

Quartararo now 11th. A mystery.
