Peter Hickman took pole from Michael Rutter and Martin Jessopp. Time to hit the deck. Cheers
Good result from Hickman given his relative (to others like Rutter) lack of Macau experience. I know he has done a few but nothing like Rutter who must know his way around there blindfold.
Is that not provisional pole though? I thought there was another qualy session this afternoon local time. (7pm for me.)
Looking forward to the race tomorrow (Saturday) I think it is.

Quite debatable to send the bikes out with such an amount of oilbinder on circuit especially at the tight Melco Hairpin and at the fast Fishermans Bend

By my reckoning the bike GP warm up should be next up... got the feed running ready for it.
Yeah it is.
I'm not getting up at stupid o'clock for nothing
Lol. We get that here many weekends!
This one is good for me, with only 3 hours difference... (we are +3 in Melbourne) Race scheduled for a red wine / beer friendly 7.00pm here.

Yeah it looks pretty messy. Thank the local touring cars for that.

With this amount of oilbinder on circuit I wouldn't expect a race if it gets wet.
Especially the bit right out of Melco looked liked the oil was still sticking through.
Danny Webb's time of 2:28.9 was quite impressive under these circumstances, I must say. Not too far off normal race pace which I'd expect around 2:26 for the top lads

Race finished under red flags on lap 8 after Phil Crowe and Ben Wylie came off on the exit of Fishermans.
Peter Hickman won from Michael Rutter and Martin Jessopp with Danny Webb finishing in a credible 4th.
All the very best to Ben & Phil and get well soon.
