Well, Marquez tries not to kill all the championship hype :haha:

In two races the leader has crashed on his own today. Tatsuki Suzuki also blew it in Moto3 when he made a rare breakaway of sorts. In fact all class leaders in points have crashed today (Toba & Baldassari too).

Amazing for Rins and Suzuki, a weirdly subdued performance for the works Ducati squad then a disaster for Honda and one half of the works Yamaha team.

I’ll take all of that thanks.

This long lap penalty is causing some lulz so far. Fenati in Qatar & Vinales in Austin both did it when they didn't have to... Did Vinales really think a jump start is no longer a DT anymore?

And if it wasn't for Naakagami just barely beating Iannone, Honda would have been the only manufacturer without a bike in the top-10, which would have been worthy a giggle or two.

Rossi is going to have to work hard in today's race. If only he could consistently match his race pace in qualifying..... :whistling:

Other than a dodgy aero device on the Ducati in Qatar and his odd low side in Austin, Marquez has been unbeatable so far in 2019. That’s a scary prospect for the remainder of the season.

The other Hondas have struggled a lot, Crutchlow in 9th was the next best.

Moto3 avoided a potential disaster after Ai Ogura's bike spun back onto the racing line on the first lap.

Lorenzo Baldassari has probably picked up a hand injury and could be doubtful for Mugello.

Marquez is amazing. Really. Good racing in the first half of the MotoGP race today, a bit more static in the second half. The Moto3 race was great though!

Mugello tomorrow. Marquez on pole ahead of Quartararo after using Dovi's slipstream to get an edge on the last lap.

I love MotoGP. Almost never disappoints. Purest mainstream motorsport there is right now.
