Along the TT press launch last night it was announced that John McGuinness secured rides on Ryan Farquhars KMR Kawasaki Supertwin alongside Peter Hickman. Furthermore Michael Dunlop signed John to race in the Supersport class for his own Michael Dunlop Racing outfit. John had already signed with Norton for the superbike class.

A couple days ago, Suter announced a comeback to the Mountain Course with their 560cc two-stroker and Ian Lougher on board.

65 days, not that I`m counting :haha:

Thanks for all the info Andy, and have a safe and happy time over there. I'll be following it from afar. Look forward to your piccies and updates if you get chance. I noticed there is a programme on TV tonight about the TT (called the 'Top 20 TT Riders') so they are obviously giving it some coverage here this year.

Just checked our TV GUide and we get full coverage of the races on what seems like the day after the race. For instance the RST Superbike TT 6 Laps race live on Saturday 2nd June:12:00 PM we get on TV Sunday 3rd June at 2.00pm our time, so literally only a few hours delay when you take into account we are 9 hours ahead. Also get qualy and other races. Record series button already set.

It was brilliant..... even featured some very shaky onboard footage with Stanley Woods back in the 1930's. Man it was a tough track back then, unsealed!

In fact it is shown with the top 20 individually in a playlist on the official IOM Youtube channel. This link should bring up that top 20 playlist.

No worries, mate. All info here is more than welcome
While I`m over it'd be nice if you could have a look as I might not always have the time. Practice week marshaling, race week pix for me.
I`ll start my marshaling campaign tomorrow night at St. Ninians/Highview Road about 2/3rd down Bray Hill and will be doing Quarry Bends again during the reminder of the week except for Thursday, when I`ve got the incident management course and therefore shuffle to the closer by Signpost.

Remember my two pics when I was marshaling Gob-e-Volley parlour at the Manx last year? Terrific spot as the bikes enter Sulby Straight there. But what's even more terrific is that you can hear if something goes way before they come past . Slightest blip in throttle and you know it is going to be a mad exit ;)

However, enjoy whatever coverage you are able to pick up. Also try to check the link I posted a bit above with the livestream proposal. Might be it is similar to the MGP one.

Cheers,
:bye:

Over 45,000 Motorcycle Racing enthusiasts from around the world* are set to converge on the Isle of Man and line their favourite spots on the Island’s hedgerows to secure the best vantage points to watch history being made before their eyes.

The 2017 meeting saw the continued dominance and fierce rivalry between two of the event’s fastest and most successful riders in its history; Englishman Ian Hutchinson and Northern Ireland’s Michael Dunlop., The pair shared four race wins between them which saw Hutchinson move to fourth on the all-time race winner’s leaderboard with 16 wins, one place ahead of Dunlop who has 15, a gap that the Northern Ireland rider is looking to eradicate in 2018.
* One of which is our own @Andy, mixing spectating with Marshalling duties. Hope you are having a ball Andy. Looks like the weather has been kind.

Some qualifying info from IOMTT website:

The first qualifying session for the 2018 Isle of Man TT Races got underway in perfect conditions on Saturday evening.
