It is with great regret to report the passing of Davey Lambert who succumbed to injuries sustained during Sundays Superbike TT.
My heart goes out to Lambos family and friends.
My pic in the very race, just a few mins prior to his incident.
Ride in peace, Lambo
Davey Lambert, im Superbikerennen schwer gestürzt, ist heute leider verstorben...
"With a heavy heart it saddens us to have to break the news that Davey lost his fight at 19.50pm this evening surround by his family and close friends. He went out of this world in exactly the way he would have wanted doing what he loved. He was a big man with an even bigger heart who will be sorely missed by so many.
As a family we would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support.
We would like to thank all of the amazing doctors and nurses who tried so hard to save Davey's life at the scene, Nobles Hospital and Aintree University Hospital. We know you did everything you possibly could to help him and for that we are eternally greatful."

Steven Lenoir died last week after a crash at the Cassel motocross track.
Former British motocross champion Steven Lenoir has died after a crash during qualifying in France on Monday.
The 25-year-old French rider, who was second in the British MX1 championship, was preparing for the race in Cassel.
Lenoir was reportedly airlifted to hospital in Lille following the crash.
"The Honda Racing Family are sad to hear of the tragic loss of Steven Lenoir following a crash in Cassel," said 24MX Lucas Oil Honda, who Lenoir rode for in the MXGP last year.
"Our thoughts are with his family, friends, team and fans at this sad time."
British superbike rider Alex Lowes added: "Absolutely gutted, always gave everything he had on and off the track RIP mate."

Hi guys,
I`ve updated my TT announcements with pics finally. I`d like to give the fallen faces in forthcoming announcements (hopefully not) or at least a pic doing what they loved most, whether your own or some website find. It would be quite nice if you could do me the favour
Cheers,
Andy

I am going to photograph the IDM/ German Superbike at the Schleizer Dreieck in July. I hope I don´t have to see a fatal crash there. It´s a fast road circiut.

@JacobWhich weekend in July is it?
Don't be afraid. Things happen.
I was supposed to be in the place where Ian Hutchinson crashed in the Senior TT but in a late decision my mates decided to go to Keppel Gate.
Later we learnt that we were just a few meters down the road from where Alan Bonner had is fatal accident.
Things happen, whether on a fast road circuit or on deemed to be safe short circuit. Just go & enjoy. Also never forget that the riders choose to be there.

During last weekends DLC (German Endurance Cup) race at Oschersleben there has been a fatality and the race was abandonded in the process. The organizers did not name a rider yet, 'to give family and friends space to grief'. From my own research it seems to be a rider of Team Borgelt. But that's it so far
