Time to open the new WSB thread with the season starter at Phillip Island this weekend.
Eurosport 1 in Germany broadcasts Race 1 live on Saturday 25th from 5am and the Supersport Race live on Sunday 26th from 3:30am followed by a race 1 replay till the live broadcast for race 2 is meant to commence from 5am.
I am pretty eager to see how Stefan Bradl does while I think that Johnny Rea and Tom Sykes are again the boys to beat.

What a great opening to the season! Phillip Island turns it on again.
Cant wait for tomorrow's race.
Great early pace from Alex Lowes on the Yamaha, and he looked a possible winner at one stage.
Another that looked good was Melandri, on the pace despite a year off (I think). Shame he dropped it after running wide.
I wont spoil the results for those watching the race on delayed broadcast.

This race was a real cracker with great battles up front and the chasing group not too far away.

Supersports race has been red flagged due to a huge crash (but I think only two bikes involved)and oil all over the track. Race being restarted with original grid positions and 10 laps duration. Only one not taking the restart. Not sure who at this stage. AQpparently no serious injuries from the crash.
