I see. Thanks for the explanation.
Perhaps Michael is a bit 'too' nice. Not sure. But then he races a lot different series/races but on similar machinery, very similar to Jeremy McWilliams

Great Saturday race, eventually, after a two hour delayh for barrier repairs from the GTs. I wont spoil it with results, as I managed to download the race, and others may not, but it was tight up front all the way and balls to the wall, literally.

Speaking of balls
Here's a clip of Horst Saigers 2nd gear highsider during 2nd qualifying and his comment on it after being released from hospital and declared fit to race
Horst Saiger wrote:"Wie soll ich sagen, es hat mir die Bälle gequetscht, ich habe richtig eins auf die Glocken bekommen."
(My attempt of a rather free translation: "Not sure how to say but it squeezed my balls. I got hit right between the legs.")

The 50th Macau finished with Peter Hickman again taking victory from Michael Rutter and Martin Jessopp in what was a great battle all race long. Glen Irwin laid in 4th position on a sensational debut when his Ducati gave up on the penultimate lap. Austrian Horst Saiger scored a best ever finish in 5th position despite a highsider at Lisboa Bend during 2nd Qualifying. Gary Johnson also was a non finisher

It was by far more enjoyable than the four wheel races. With the FIA GT race as a abysmal low point. Even Laurens wasn't pleased with his title saying not knowing how to put this title in perspective.

The bike race was ace ;)
But I was very pleased with the F3 boys keeping it together with just two laps of safety car.

Are there superbike races around the Nordschleife these days? Cant be much more dangerous than the streets of Macau or the various Irish roads they race on.

No races, just trackdays but with real two wheel stars at the Ring such as Helmut Dähne
