yes, but no. When a crash in FIA-land happens, the human body is usually secured by the confines of the car. When a rider falls from his bike, he is completely exposed.
You should re-read my post as that was it's entire point.

sorry about that buddy.
at least I imagine he was dead on impact.
The thing I find disturbing is the thought of waking up one morning and not knowing if this day might be your last

Stoner will test the new Honda bike in the coming months.
Fantastic news. Although a racing return is 'ruled out', I hope that turns out to be wrong.
MotoGP without Casey Stoner has just not been the same.

I'd love to see him and Marquez go at it, both sideways and half spun out.

It's been a little bit better.

Yep, good stuff all around. Marquez is just incredible in the way he slides that bike around in this modern era of traction control and what not. And how about them Ducati boys playing motocross over the kerbs. Hayden does not give a fuck now that he's out at the end of the season, haha.

Yep, there is no doubt that MM is the standout, and for a rookie (I still have to remind myself that fact) he is probably achieving milestones not seen since many years before Rossi. I always realised he was going to be stunning pace wise, but I thought he would be chucking it down the road a fair bit as a cost of that pace, and in reality he has been clean during the races after the first couple.
His pole lap was none too shabby either.
I also had to chuckle re the Ducatis in the final turns.... amazed they all finished still in the saddle.

I dozed off shortly after Marquez took the lead, seems I missed most of the action.

MotoGP is only of slight interest to me these days. I recall the awesome 2006 season and the following year was pretty good too.
But from there on in, it went downhill.
