I don't believe this careless spectator was killed in the accident, possibly the commentator tells us how he fared in this ugly looking crash, for which he can only blame himself.

The spectator tried to help his uncle who crashed with the first car. He was then hit by another car and suffered serious head injuries but survived.

Nothing else of importance in there.
