Here's a flip at Langhorne from 1955 which I don't remember seeing before, do we know anything about this?

It's a pretty famous crash shot by an unseen before angle. Very interesting. Sadly, i never got who was driving the two cars.

Formula Atlantic/Indy Lights

https://mega.nz/#!o6IlHCzK!gUtZeLERQdDz ... FlubFHPthU Strange crash in the backstraight at Watkins Glen, probably a mid 80's clip
I'm quite certain that this is Jeremy Hill, 1987 ECAR Formula Atlantic at Watkins Glen (DNF, accident). Hill raced the #00 in other races that year (e.g. Lime Rock). Plus Watkins Glen was only on the calendar in 1987.

https://www.oldracingcars.com/results/r ... aceID=K87H

Will try to get it confirmed.

Formula Atlantic/Indy Lights

https://mega.nz/#!p2YlSYSD!5TKaRR0MerCD ... pWa9eAIgNg A big crash from Trois Rivieres, don't know anything else.
Not Trois Rivières but Vancouver: Russell Spence (#12) and Carlos Bonetti (#36), 1992 SCCA Toyota Atlantic Championship

Hah, the Jeremy Hill one was already solved by @Vassago a year ago  Shame on me.

One plea @mattia2: Please add the ID to your initial post to avoid misunderstandings such as the above.

What makes you think it is not the Thomson/Hoyt crash?

I realise it's Thomson/Hoyt now, I just got confused at the time because I didn't remember seeing the first part of the accident where Hoyt flipped.

Not exactly what I meant to say. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
Could you add the name of the drivers involved, the track, the year and probably the series to your first post in this thread? So people don't have to search all the answers for the solution.

As in:
https://mega.nz/#!ZyJUFTja!eNy564stV8VE ... uOUzmleROA Strange crash from Zhuhai. a car is left in the middle of the track for an entire lap and is hit by another competitor. SOLVED

Tyson Sy (#xx) & Gaby dela Merced (#xy), 2006, Zhuhai International Circuit, Asian F3

Some thoughts on this one:
I figured the Formula Ford race might have been a support event e.g. to a BTCC race.

Now to the important stuff:
That design of the Shell Oils advertisement on the start/finish straight was used from ca. 1985 until 1988 from what I was able to find:

1984 British Motorcycle Grand Prix with a differently colored ad

1985 British Motorcycle GP with the same advertisement as in your video.

That same design/color scheme was still used for the 1988 BTCC round at Silverstone:

Then the German commentator mentiones a "She" in his commentary. It's not 100 percent clear to me whether he's really referreing to the accident or just talking to his female co-commentator.

tl;dr:
Probably 1985 - 1988, female driver.

Here's the solution:
Hi, this is from a 1987 Esso Championship race at Silverstone.
The yellow Van Diemen that spins across the track is Antonio Simoes and the red/white Quest that misses the stray wheel is Andrew Guys-Johnson.
