Looks like a Cooper.
Racing is living and everything that happens in between is just waiting.

I read in the link comments that it was a 'Rhodesian driver called Pretorius,' which ties it down to Jackie Pretorius, a regular South African Formula 1 / Libre driver who also had 3 WDC South African GP starts - one each for Team Pretoria in 1968, driving a BT11 Climax, Team Gunston, (1971) driving a Brabham BT26A, and Frank Williams, driving an Iso-Marlboro FX3B in 1973. He replaced Nino Galli who was injured in a testing crash. He also had a DNQ at the SA GP in 1965 driving an LDS Alfa Romeo.

He had also driven regularly in the local F1 and Formula Libre championships with Lolas and a Lotus, changing to a Brabham in 1971..

Getting back to this photo....

Who what where when?

Henry Schultz: (Note, Henry Schulz is the photographer- EB) Just before Crowthorne, I have learnt recently that this was a Rhodesian by the name of Pretorious. Maybe someone could fill us in with the full story.

Neil Stephen: Looks like it has an Alfa motor in it.
