Rather than going through the entire Crash Photos section page by page as on the original CPDB, we have decided the best method is to choose a theme and upload all relevant crash photos of this theme.

For example:

- Fatal crashes involving Grand Prix drivers;
- Indianapolis 500 crashes;
- Crashes at a particular racetrack or in a particular series
- Crashes between 1894 and 1914 etc.

Use the Search function on the forum to find the photos.

I could upload all the fatal crashes at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway we have (actually, only two of them are missing, one from 1913 and another one from 1915, and I doubt, at this point, that any photo of them exists).

All photos in the database must be hosted by us, I don't want any of them to go offline like when we lost Imageshack.us

btw, are the circuits in the database on the server? or does it link to a server outside our reach?

They're in another table on the server, yeah. I'm adding them as I go along (see the Location box)

i think i would first look for the main series: On what circuits they drive? Are these circuits changed? Or are they replaced?
For instance: Sotchi is a new track, Spa Franchorchamps has changed busstop chicane.

I've seen the new photo uploader. It works well, but I had to link an image from an external website because it was too big (2 MB is the limit).

To be honest, we only have 17 photos in the database and probably 17,000 still to go. The smaller details will be important at some stage, but my main goal right now is to get as many photos as possible into the database with basic information. I don't want us to invest too much time and effort into it yet in case the project fails (again).

Pffft, resize that motherfucker! The database only displays images up to 1024x1024
