The Sherrin BMW that had qualified 3rd has subsequently been disqualified from qualifying due to a boost pressure anomaly, and will start today's race from rear of grid.

Also so much for no BOP, apparently that fastest qualifying M3 is going to have to make an extra compulsory stop (and those are a minimum of 90 seconds)...

The #69 John Bowe HSV got into a shunt, John might not even get to drive it now.

Bit old fashioned, how they're checking those tyres.

The #51 Mazda just spiled a shit ton of fuel over the pitlane. Very dangerous that.

The WRX hatch blew up. One of the older Commodores is driving down the grass.
It's all happening right now...

I'm not sure what happened but anyway the #45 is still on the lead lap in 6th, so I think that was a false alarm.
EDIT: I got confused. They were talking about Garth Walden's Evo Lancer, which is now out of the race.

2 hours plus in and the Lynton/ Leahey BMW is doing it easy, with over a lap in hand over second. 2nd to 9th is quite a battle though.
