There are plenty of schedules for 2020, so as a threadstarter just seen this one....

As usual anyone can add motorsports calendars to the thread. Major calendars only please, not local clubbies.

World Rally Championship 2020 Calendar

Rnd Rally Date
1 Monte-Carlo 23 – 26 January
2 Sweden 13 – 16 February
3 Mexico 12 – 15 March
4 Chile 16 – 19 April
5 Argentina 30 April – 3 May
6 Portugal 21 – 24 May
7 Italy 4 – 7 June
8 Kenya 16 – 19 July
9 Finland 6 – 9 August
10 New Zealand 3 – 6 September
11 Turkey 24 – 27 September
12 Germany 15 – 18 October
13 Great Britain 29 October – 1 November
14 Japan 19 – 22 November

Japan, Kenya and New Zealand all return to the World Rally Championship calendar in 2020, with Australia, Corsica and Spain all dropped from the schedule. There are plans to rotate New Zealand and Australian rounds of the series on alternate years, as has happened in the past..

Germany's Bostalsee-based round had been expected to be dropped, but was saved at the expense of Catalunya.
Germany does, however, move from a summer date to mid-October.

Rally GB is also on the move, heading back to its more traditional date with a Sunday finish on the first day of November.

The series concludes with Rally Japan for the WRC's first return to that country since 2010.

Kenya's Safari return ends a 17-year absence, while New Zealand features for the first time in eight years.
FIA rally director Yves Matton said the 14-round calendar - with six events outside of Europe - demonstrated the governing body's commitment to putting the world back into the WRC.

Matton said: "In order to further globalise the championship, we needed to have more WRC rounds outside Europe.

"I am glad to see the results of our expansion strategy, with emblematic events such as Kenya and Japan coming back to the WRC calendar next year, alongside New Zealand replacing Australia, while long-standing, iconic European events provide a great balance and preserve the DNA of the sport.

"Following the integration of Chile last year, the 2020 calendar also expands our presence on both the Asian and African continents."

Formula 1 pre-season testing dates and race calendar confirmed

Traditionally, there have been two four-day tests at Catalunya Circuit, but with an extra race added to the calendar next year, a compromise has been reached.

Two three-day winter tests will be held, the first running 19-21 February and the second running 26-28 February, with a four-day gap in between.

The two in-season tests, which this year took place in Bahrain and Spain, have been removed from the 2020 schedule, placing a great emphasis on testing parts in Friday free practice sessions.

The new Vietnamese Grand Prix (Hanoi street circuit) and returning Dutch Grand Prix (Zandvoort) are both listed as ‘subject to circuit homologation’.

Australian S5000 Championship 2020 calendar

The Australian S5000 Championship will be run over six rounds in 2020 plus a non-championship ‘international feature race’ at the new Bathurst event.

Round Circuit/Event Date
1 Australian Grand Prix, Albert Park Mar 12-15
2 Sydney Motorsport Park Mar 27-29
3 Winton** May 1-3

Non-c’ship Mount Panorama, Bathurst** TBC

* Subject to finalisation of commercial agreements with circuit
** Subject to confirmation

The season will begin at Albert Park at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in mid-March, as previously announced, with the remaining five points-paying rounds taking place on the Shannons Nationals program.

Sydney Motorsport Park is the first of those, in mid-March, followed by Winton in May, The Bend in June, Phillip Island in August, and Sandown in September, the latter of which has already hosted one round of S5000.

The Bathurst round, to be held at the new ‘fifth (Bathurst) event’ which is also run by S5000 promoter the Australian Racing Group (ARG), is being described as an ‘international feature race’ with details to be announced at a later date.

Bathurst and Winton are, however, listed as ‘Subject to confirmation’ in the calendar release, while Phillip Island is listed as ‘Subject to finalisation of commercial agreements with circuit’ as per the unveiling of the broader Shannons Nationals calendar a day prior.

The date of the fifth Bathurst event has also not been fully confirmed, but has previously been announced as being held in December.

Australian GT Trophy Series 2020 calendar

Australian GT has released its 2020 Trophy Series calendar, which spans 10 rounds with competitors to count their best six results.

The season features a mixture of Supercars events, the Bathurst 6 Hour, Australian GT’s own meetings, and state rounds, and includes two visits to Mount Panorama.

The state rounds at Sandown and Sydney Motorsport Park at the start of the campaign count for half points and have been earmarked as a means of gaining experience before higher profile meetings at Bathurst, Phillip Island, and the Gold Coast.
Most rounds will comprise a pair of one-hour races, either standalone or with the outright GT3 and GT4 field, although Round 1 at Sandown is made up of two six-lap races and one 50-minute race.

Formats will allow for two drivers per car, with a compulsory pit stop to be a feature of races, and eligibility open to FIA Bronze- and Silver-classified drivers.

2020 Bathurst International.... 500klm TCR Race.

13th-15th November.

Organisers of the Bathurst International have confirmed the inaugural 500 kilometre TCR event will be held in 13th-15th November.

The event date will see it slot in a week before the Macau Grand Prix, allowing international drivers the opportunity to compete.

Great support line up too.... Organisers also confirmed Touring Car Masters, TA2, and S5000 will be part of the event’s supporting bill, while discussions surrounding LMP3 remain ongoing.
