Bottom post of the previous page:

He was probably under strict instructions not to bin another one.

As for Alonso, it seems everything McLaren get involved in, turns to shyte, I wonder what the common demonitor is?

Erm... two common denominators? :whistling:

(Certainly can't blame Honda this time...)

The common dementor?

The one guy who could not afford to total his car just did. Kyle Kaiser wrecked heavily and that might spell the end for him at Indy 2019.

I was actually thinking the common denominator is Zach Brown (aside from the obvious one).

Agree with you. But there's the other one who seems to carry a weight of expectation, ego and much baggage with him, isn't there?

With a principal / master of Bullshit named Brown its no wonder it turns to shyte.
Edit: I posted this on the previous page not realising it was well covered since.

Why is the McLaren so far off the pace?

It's a spec series car with spec tyres and a spec engine, a driver who is beyond competent and a track that's got an obvious fast line.

Can somebody explain what's happened?

Who is the team running the McLaren car? Is it Andretti again?

Some of his lack of speed I guess is similar to Hinch and O’Ward, the car being swiftly rebuilt after his heavy crash and not a lot of track time for fine tuning.
