Seldom someone is that dominant in Indycar. Made for a not so interesting race.

That's the biggest winning margin on this track since Al Unser Jr won by 23 seconds in 1995 (and that only featured a 22 lap green finish from the last caution).

Whatever happened on lap 1 BTW? Ericsson got a penalty, but there weren't any clear replays of the incident. At least someone ended up in the fountain, FINALLY.

Chip and Penske wants the full-time entries to be locked in to the Indy500. @MonteCristo it's the Crapwagon days all over again.

Any time you impose limits, it fucks things up. F1, F3000, Supercars.

Fuck Chip, but I guess if Dixon qualified 34th then Indycar would miraculously DSQ a car ahead of him or allow 34 cars to start the race. They are THAT far up Chip’s ass.

Now Andretti is on board with the 25/8 rule as well, so Bump Day is probably gone for 2020. I wouldn't be the least surprised to see Rahal and Schmidt go public with their support as well in the coming weeks.

Everything was going great, and Indycar just HAD to shoot themselves in the foot.

To be fair, Captain Liverspots, Fatassi and Lesser Andretti have always been self-serving, turncoat bastards.

Can we officially re-brand the series CART again? Because the owners are running the show again :whistling: If this goes through I'd be shocked to see more than 33 entries next year :rockedover:

Rahal supporting the 25/8 rule as well. As does Robin Miller...

If they go through with this they might as well reduce Indy to a single race week instead of dragging on for a month. If they're going to go full retard with this and do away with traditions, they'd be better off removing bumping all together and allow for 38 starters instead.

I understand where they're coming from and they only want to protect their interests, but still, they're schmucks.

Chiltons help set INDYCAR fashion standard

Image

When it comes to style, Englishman and Carlin driver Max Chilton is among the hippest drivers in the NTT IndyCar Series paddock.

The pilot of the No. 59 Gallagher Carlin Chevrolet is no slouch on the track, either.

But skinny jeans and black leather boots in his wardrobe aside, it’s Chloe Chilton, Max’s bride of two years, who takes the family prize in the fashion stakes...
