Lap before the red rule I guess. How many laps behind the SC before they red flagged it?

Dont go to the 12hr wwebsite for official results.... the results they have posted are wrong.... they show the Manthey car winning, the #55 Strakka car 2nd and the #37 Audi 3rd. Looking closer they have posted the final result based on positions as at lap 253. :haha: :haha: :huh:

I was asleep with headphones in and woke up thinking something had fallen over in the room that crash was so loud lol.

Did I see the Borg on that results list? Was resistance futile?

The crash initially saw the race suspended, before finally being declared as debris littered the circuit.

With the results rolled back to the last completed lap before the red flag, Walsh won the Am Class with co-drivers Theo Koundouris, James Koundouris, and Duvashen Padayachee.

Martin, Mark Griffth, Liam Talbot, and David Reynolds were classified ninth in the Pro-Am Class.

It followed an earlier incident for Andrew Bagnell which saw the International Motorsports driver taken to Orange Hospital after reporting a sore neck and back.

When contacted by Speedcafe.com, Orange Hospital stated Bagnell was in a stable condition.

The Craft Bamboo Racing Porsche that finished third has subsequently been given a 30 second post race penalty because of a miscalculation of stint times put Laurens Vandoor 2 minutes over the maximum drive time. I did not even realise this although the results posted reflect it.

Big thanks to the drivers, engineers, and crew for the awesome job all week and over the last 12 hours. Definitely not the way to finish after a faultless race on track to the flag, but it’s how racing goes sometimes... .

Yeah I thought the 'glitch in the strategy software' sounded more like we knew we had miscalculated but thought for the sake of two minutes we would run the gauntlet in the hope no-one would pick it up. :whistling:

Mate I have never seen so many mobile phones and calculators and lap tops being used in one place as I did in the garages in the final 40 minutes or so of that race as everyone was calculating mileage and fuel use. Im sure no one was thinking of such things as how manyt minutes has driver A/B/C been in the car.... :smiley:
