They run a version of it on the MWR COT, the year they got busted cheating iirc, Sandeep should know, he has a better memory than me lol
That sponsor has jumped around a bit IIRC. I remember both Michael Waltrip and Brian Vickers riding it.

Four seconds between fourth and fifth. 10 seconds between 7th and 8th. 50 laps in at Talladega.

Almirola won in overtime!
Kurt Busch looked good throughout, but slowed from the lead in turn 4 - out of fuel.
There was no 'big one'.

I went to bed after stage 2. That was one of the worst races I've seen in a long, long time.

You have to understand that Nascar is in a bad spot in so many ways right now. The poor racing is only one of them.

Yeah if you think that was good you'll loose your shit if you watch any of the older races.
That was a terrible race, probably the worst restrictor plate race I've ever seen, but come Daytona all the cars will be skewed to the left and they'll be the typical big one and all will be forgiven by NASCAR's core demographics at the moment (which might explain why we consider things so bad and Tobias doesn't since it is only his generations view NASCAR are interested in nowdays).
It really comes to something when I'm more interested in Strictly and The Cry (the Mrs got fedup with me asking what was going on) than I am a NASCAR race.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.

These cars have so much downforce these days. Just look at the in-car cams at places like Dover, the drivers are barely fighting the car. Just point into the corner and it goes around the turn like nothing.

What are some of the most legendary races (that I can watch on YouTube)?
@Ian-S - I realise NASCAR is not in a good place right now.
Bring back the authentic rules and points system last used in 2003.
Oh, and North-Wilkesboro

This is imo a classic race. I posted this one earlier. In this race Ernie Irvan showed that a NASCAR regular can dominate a road course race.
Brian Redman: "Mr. Fangio, how do you come so fast?" "More throttle, less brakes...."

No need to plough through hours and hours of races, but here's a few fine clips:
VIDEO
Atlanta 2001. Third race I think it was after Dale Sr. died.
VIDEO
Talladega 1984.
If you wanna see just how good a plate race at Talladega can be, watch the 2010 Aaron's 499.

Thank you for sharing, John and Erwin!
Any other excerpts are always welcome.
Does Atlanta usually provide good races?
