Good to see the Pink Pig livery back..... shame it isnt on a 917 but times move on.
When Priaulx went off in the Ford I couldnt believe when he bounced off the tyres and continued, albeit with the car in shreds and body work falling off as he limped back to the pits. A strange crash.

If any of you have been watching the coverage on Eurosport. Could any of you do a video capture of when I got name checked with my Sister and Brother in law during the final ten minutes of the session please. Thank you!

I bought the Eurosport Player package, that includes the world-feed with only natural sounds, and then playing Radio Le Mans on top of that. No ads, no BS, and the ES Player package has worked beautifully. Will miss the first two hours of the race due to work, but then I won't be leaving the sofa for 22 hours!

Hehehe Yeah the Eurosport TV coverage keeps breaking for their station id's and those dreadful top 10 obscure events in world sport. But when I think back it is better than listening to RLM with no vision for 24hours and keeping up with headlines online.

ACO Issue Further GTE Balance of Performance Changes
Aston Martin gets further power boost
As suggested on these pages earlier this week, the ACO has this afternoon issued another Technical Bulletin outlining further GTE Pro (and Am) Balance of Performance Changes with every car being dealt. for the most part very minor, changes.
The exception to the general rule is the new Aston Martin Vantage which, for the second time this week, is dealt a break on turbo boost, believed by this writer to be worth c.5-7 bhp across the board. In addition, the Aston also receives a further 10-kilo weight break. Those two values together are certainly not enough to offset the substantial gap between the Aston Martins and the remainder of the field in on-track performance.
Beyond that, both the BMW M8 GTE (10kg) and Corvette C7.R (5kg) are given minor weight reductions. In contrast, the Ford GT (8kg) and Porsche 911 RSR(10kg) are given minor weight increases.
The only change to the Ferrari 488 GTE meanwhile is a 1-litre increase in permitted fuel load
Across the board minimum and maximum fuel fill times are re-iterated.
There are minor changes too in LM GTE Am with the older Aston Martin Vantage GTE getting a Weight break of 10 kilos, the Porsche 911 RSR getting an additional 10 kilos.
I heard the commentary team saying something about potential time penalties can be added during (and even after I think they said?) the race if they feel there has been sandbagging in qualy and practice by teams to get BoP favours for the race. I'm hoping I misheard it or got it wrong what they were saying.
A 2 second gap between the two Toyotas seemed a bit strange, but maybe Naka just timed his run right with the conditions. Still, even his pole lap was slower than last year's pole.
