Quite (pleasantly) surprised that race did not end with a red....

So how did the races go this morning?
I'm sorry but I was fully worn last night and crashed out.

The bike race wasn't restarted.
The local series car race ended because of a two-car crash blocking the track. WTCC was uneventful. The GT race was more so.
I just drove a race on RFactor around Macau and it was a pretty good rendition (complete with a 40 car grid capacity) although graphically dated.

Yeah I knew about the bike race. It never was going to be restarted. That was what had me worn out because the road racing family is a pretty tight knitted group and I became part of it. It means, that you gonna be there for and with your mates.theracer120 wrote: ↑6 years ago The bike race wasn't restarted.

And coverages of crashes like the one yesterday do not bode well inside this community.
It was sick to zoom in on the fallen, full stop. What made it worse for most including me, was that at least one marshal at the scene pulled his mobile and filmed it.
For me, it would have been much more interesting to see, how he actually lost it, given that the red flags were already displayed and tv had the chance to not do what it did.

Interesting to see how Norris fares from his lowly start position (7th)

I don't think we know what actually caused him to lose it but the amateur vid shows that the back end kicked out as he was entering the corner in a big way (which leads me to believe that maybe he locked up or something broke in the rear) and the rest was history.
