Tailem Bend is having its inaugral proper race meeting the weekend after next (13th-15th April) when the Shannons National series hold their championship round there. Round 2 of the Australian GT series will be on as well.
Here is a video of the first laps of the track.

Unfortunately with the number of different tracks available at the complex, it does not show a full lap, but it does show some footage at high speed. I am sure that in the next few days, with the track being officially opened for testing we will see something of a full lap.

Also entered to run at Tailem Bend is a fairly new category here AFAIK, the Hot Wheels backed Australian Prototype Series. They are set for a record grid of at least 21 cars for its first round of 2018.

I have never seen them on TV (or live) but they look like a more developed Radical, in fact the best supported make is a Radical.The series will be split across multiple classes , with P1 for outright, Kumho Cup for part-time or less experienced drivers, FL1 for open-wheel Formula 1000 cars, (which look to me very similar, perhaps physically smaller to an F3/F4 car). They run 1000cc Motorbike engines and drive through a chain from what I can make out. There is also a separate class trophy for Radical SR3s.
There is apparently a BoP which will be announced prior to the weekend..
