Bottom post of the previous page:

The title went to one of the two right people. Had Rast secured the title then it would have been an utter travesty to Di Resta and Paffett. The mid-season rule change took Audi from being also-rans to the dominant manufacturer. Rast's 6 successive wins was impressive though.

We might have seen the last from Fredrik Ekblom, one of Sweden's all time greatest drivers.

https://www.touringcartimes.com/2019/01 ... ng-career/

A bit under the radar internationally for most of his career, he drove a few races in Indycar in the mid 90's, had a full-time contract with AJ Foyt for 1996 but was cancelled when Foyt committed to IRL and Ekblom didn't have enough oval experience. He did race with Walker Racing in the infamous 1996 US 500, but blew up soon after the race restarted, so never had the chance of making his mark over there. But 5 pole positions in 10 races with the might BMW M3 GTR in ALMS GT in 2001 was a real feat, and so was his stints in ETCC, WTCC and in sports car racing.

Hmmm I just tried to log into ITV live as a test to see if it would work. Last year I just had to enter a UK postcode (used my brother's) and it let me watch. Now it is querying whether I am at that postcode so they have obviously tightened up. Bottom line is I can no longer get ITV live with a simple UK postcode. :sorrow:

Did you use the beebs extension?

I was able to get it working, had to verify my email though and get it to run flash.

Last time I tried Beebs (end of last year) it did not work for me. I'll try again.

Not much help now, but I just posted the stream link. This BTCC seems to be better than BTCC has been in recent years.

Huh? Mark Blundell (ex-McLaren F1 driver) is in this race!

And they're pushing and shoving each other off the track just like they did in the 1990s.

Yeah, plenty of rubbin is racing. Always good to see Matt Neal cop a serve! Finishing in effect on three wheels and then a little fire.

Also no safety cars in any of the 3 BTCC races.

Yeah, the wheel completely collapsed in Paddock Bend and he still motored on for the rest of the lap. There was some really good side-by-side action too, going 3 wide at some points! Maybe I'll watch more later if I know it's on.
