Post by sramoa » 2 months ago

Dear All,

I've never seen before photo for our famous hungarian GP driver-László Hartmann's crash.
Can anybody help me?

I haven't seen anything on this. Only Eugenio Siena's fatal crash, which was during the same race.

Tried to see if I could find something by searching instead for Farina, who was involved in this accident, but I've come up with nothing. There doesn't appear to be a book about the history of the Tripoli GsP, either. I still have a feeling there's got to be something in terms of visual media. Right now, I haven't got anything.

Is there an online newspaper archive where this full newspaper can be viewed?

Alternatively, someone could formulate the question in Italian, and then I can ask the seller, if you don't own an account.

"Salve,
Sa dirmi se, nel giornale, ci sono articoli sul Gran Premio di Tripoli?
In particolare, se ci sono immagini dell'incidente occorso a Laszlo Hartmann.

La ringrazio, saluti."

It's like:

"Hello,
Can you tell me if, in the newspaper, there are articles on the Tripoli Grand Prix?
In particular, if there are images of the crash that happened to Laszlo Hartmann.

Thank you, regards."

I usually don't go straight to the point, some people could think you're weird (or something like that).

Yeah, well, I wouldn't want anyone to think that about me, now, would I... :haha:

"Immediately" in Italian means: eventually.

I wonder what "eventually" means to the dear lady.

In the meantime I'm listening to Led Zeppelin.

Useless. I'd give up, I imagine there's nothing in this newspaper, so she's just stalling.

Sometimes it means: if I remember.

Well: insist.
