Latest post of the previous page:

vs.

Won a bet on that, once. Some fool insisted that Black Sabbath mk. 1 had never recorded a cover version on vinyl. The original is much better. Said fool never paid up. He is still a fool. He is probably out there, somewhere, being played by an evil woman. :haha:

The original Blind Faith "Cant find my way home"...

The Blind Faith "Electric" version

House of Lords

Eric Clapton

Joe Cocker

Bonnie Raitt & Lowell George

Sound Factory

There are actually well over 30 commercial covers released of that song, including of course he who wrote it, Stevie Winwood (wrote it in his Blind Faith days).

Couple Dylan covers I've listened to, recently:

Kevin Coyne.

The Nice.

Incredible range of artistic inspiration, based on mr. Zimmerman's classics. Noticed it a long time ago. But then again, I was so much older then; I'm younger than that now (shout-out to Kierkegaard).

I found another excellent cover of Voodoo Child, from a guy called Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He certainly does the song justice, especially as it is a live performance. Rest of the band is: Noah Hunt - Vocals, Chris Layton - Drums, Scott Nelson - Bass, Joe Krown - Keyboards

Recorded at the "Keeping The Blues Alive Cruise" 2019

Hehehe a good friend of mine back in the day was the bass player and a founder member of Manfred Mann.... Colin Pattenden. I used to work in a car parts shop during college holidays and met him through that. He was really into his cars. I actually bought a Lotus Cortina I had for a while from him. Mighty Quinn was whilst he was with them.

The original: Dobie Gray

A number of covers, perhaps most famously this one:

Mamas and Papas

or an instrumental version by the Ramsey Lewis trio which I quite like
