The late Ole Erling, trying to keep up with the ever-changing face of pop music. Or something...

I guess it was easier in the '70s... I've never laughed so hard before, at the death of a person. What a wonderfully all-embracingly talentless man. A clown of all genres. A true legend.

Thanks for putting the image of Lemmy and Ole live, somewhere, in my mind. You took it from the absurd via the bizarre into the realm of the surreal. Grazie! Needed a good, long, hard laugh...

That's a terrible song but tom jones makes it so grotesque. I just wonder if he sang "you don't have to be bitch...."Jesper Hvid wrote:

Man's got rhythm. Soul. Made the song work. Prince had less rhythm than the deaf, dumb and blind quadruple amputee in Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun.

I have never been a huge fan of Prince, and the only outstanding thing of his music is that he recorded all instrument all by himself. Apart from that there were contemporary funk acts miles away from Prince who benefitted his ehtereal image vs the band image.Jesper Hvid wrote:Man's got rhythm. Soul. Made the song work. Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World, played on a hammered dulcimer.
I have no idea what the hell that is, but I love it when people play popular music on unusual instruments!

If a man can't look at danger and still go on, man has stopped living. If the worst ever happens – then it means simply that I've been asked to pay the bill for the happiness of my life – without a moment's regret. Graham Hill

I wouldn't either. Reposting stuff doesn't matter in this thread tbh, go ahead.
