Lol, just seen this..... no it wouldnt be the Mike Parkes who raced. His Father was Chairman of Alvis Cars and Mike worked as an automotive engineer for the Rootes Group.(Chrysler in the UK). Some of these riffs and arrangements run like a red thread through hard rock and heavy metal. I'd go as far as to say a band of the titan quality of Savatage wouldn't have existed without this musical. So, I give thanks...
