Who plays Bass?

I've just bought one, and picked it up today - was supposed to get it Wednesday but murmurs of a national lockdown were in the air, and I rushed out to get it shortly before it was announced that Boris would speak to the nation.

I couldn't find a pick of my Ibanez. All are for sale.

I'm really enjoying mine so far. No amp, which is limiting somewhat, but I've just got a headphone amplifier - looking forward to trying that out next time I play.

In terms of progress, I'm finding it so much more accessible than guitar and ukulele at the moment. Feels like the initial barrier is less steep, however mastery feels a million miles away.

I have two friends who are guitarists, and we'll get together at some point once all of the covid stuff is dying down again - I'll have probably learned enough to do some basics by then.
