Which movie had the best soundtrack? Some examples: Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Dirty Dancing etc.
I'm going to nominate Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure for its compendium of utterly awesome 1980s-style rock 'n' roll tracks, which were mainly written by small, unsigned bands especially for the movie.
'In Time' by Robbie Robb from the movie is one of my all-time favourite songs and it's well-loved by people on my personal YouTube channel:
Another great one from the movie:
And the tune over the closing credits.
So, so good.

American Graffiti released in the early 1970's
Contains a great soundtrack of original 50's rock and roll songs

This was Walt Disney's favourite Disney song and it's also mine.
I don't know how the other musicians here feel about it, but this song has one of the most pleasant chord progressions I've heard in any genre.
