Former Rainbow, Dio and Wild Horses bassist Jimmy Bain passed away 68 years old. Jimmy also co-wrote songs with Phil Lynott for Lynott's solo albums.

It get's scary now, how much splendid musicians passing away in relatively short time.

Yes, but he left us a light in the black and a rainbow in the dark.

Well, let's hear it, then. Jimmy bloody Bain. Ace of bass.

Bain ain't gone, he just revived himself.

"I see that it's me that's lost and never found!".

Left on your own like a rainbow in the dark.

So easy to understand.

So easy.

Accepts song Breaker sounds like basing on Light in the dark. Listen carefully to the first few chords which seem to re occur like a red string

Absolutely. A bit of a Metal leitmotif? BTW, I wonder why there isn't a book on Dio's metaphoric lyric writing. The meaning of which all becomes clearer and clearer with age.

Most likely but for a Leitmotiv it takes more than one re-appearence I would have thought.
