Help build playlist of 1960s club/pub music - Cheeveer?
Basically, I wanna get the feel of being in a pub or a club in the 1960s with a tracklist of dirty 60s garage rock and protopunk like the following, but I'm really struggling to find music with this sound:
Also any other suggestions like this would be welcome, 'cause it ain't rock, but it sure as hell got groove

I know a few more from the 60s but I have no clue if that is what you're after:
This was from 1970 (altough the single might've been out in 1969?) but this was really popular in NL at least:

Haha, my speciality! Got Spotify? I've got a full playlist there with such music (though it includes modern music that is very much inspired by the 60's garage sound). Hang on a while.

Not much gets close to The Sonics mind you, Here Are The Sonics is one of the greatest albums ever recorded. But here's some of my 60's garage, rock & soul favorites. Especially the live clips of Wilson Picket and Otis Redding are ace! Rock & soul music is darn, darn good.
Early Stones is a must.

Currently on The Stones stuff, this is a bit more like it. I like the really dirty raw sound of The Sonics and The Stooges, haven't got round to the Troggs yet, but I think I've heard what you posted once before Jesper. Can't remember if it's what I'm looking for until I listen again!

There was also the song that I discovered which Strad liked, The Something Ghosts, buggered if I can find it again, or maybe it was The Spectres or Wraiths, I'll see if I can find it again, it was better than The Troggs, and I love The Troggs.
