Latest post of the previous page:

That's actually very good. Can't remember it, but it's mid-'80s for sure.

Not a van-fan myself, but I've got those ancient vinyls, along with Animals, Stones, Mayall, Troggs, and Yardbirds, as I happen to dig them white old rhythm and blues.

Decent enough comeback, but the spirit of Kin isn't there. This is more of a rewind to 30 years back when they were neglected as a Testament clone.

This new WW1 concept album by Sabaton fails in every way, like the Charlemagne album with Christopher Lee, though not in as seriocomic a manner.

Mercyful Fate have reformed, tho. Not sure if they intend to record a new album, or if it's just for the sake of some live gigs next year.

The last three times I saw King Diamond, and before that the last 2 Mercyful Fate gigs, weren't too brilliant, but they were undoubtedly the most original rock band to come out of Denmark, so hopefully they will cook up something interesting, and I definitely will go see them.

All-star washed-up lineup, doing vintage Saxon. Pastiche of a pastiche of a pastiche. It was already going dodgy with Black & Blue at the end of the 80s. Fuck your old boots, dudes. You carry no news. Phil Campbell was the least interesting and flamboyant Motörhead member. Now he thinks he's Izzy Stradlin. The fact that Mickey Dee ain't in this, tells you summat about what Motörhead really were for the last 25 years.

I remember back in the '80s on TV you'd hear Italian football supporters chanting the chorus from this, during the match transmissions. "Ah-lay oh-oh, ah-lay oh-oh...". Can't remember if it was the national team or club games.
