Tony Wang and his wife Lulu Wang.

Anthony "Tony" Wang emigrated from Shanghai with his parents and two brothers in 1952, settling in the New York borough of Queens. Tony went to Yale, graduated Cornell law, got into software, earning great success. In 1992 he retired to pursue vintage racing with his wife, Lulu, a Wellesley and Columbia grad, herself an avid vintage racer. Away from racing, the Wangs are devoted to giving to institutions and causes committed to improving life quality for people everywhere.

At the track, Tony and Lulu are composed, liked and admired by fellow enthusiasts, and together visibly adore vintage motorsport, which they have ardently supported for years.

I found a guy, he ran the NASCAR Midget division which ran from 1953-1962, named Meatball Orlando.

Sounds a bit like the story behind my user name here, which stems from a Family Christmas party back in the 70's, when a very young nephew just in the learning to talk stage.... he was trying to say Emmerson Fittipaldi, pronouncing it more like my user name / nic. One of my Mum's favourite family stories, related just about every Xmas apparently. (The bit re my nephew, not my user name)

I think we've had this discussion before, but I am convinced that it was the name of a 1970s comic strip that I very vaguely remember seeing. I recognised the reference as soon as I first saw your username, hence was very surprised to find you'd never heard of it!! Could your nephew have got it from the comic and therefore been pronouncing it spot on? If so, I think your family owes him an apology!

And now, gentlemen, I present to you quite possibly the worst, or maybe the best name, so far, and although I know fuck all about this dude in question (other then that he was a stock car driver), I feel quite sorry for this person, because his name was... wait for it... Dick Raper. You heard me right. Dick Raper.

A couple of names I noticed when watching our Kumho V8 Racers (a clubbie level category, using older outdated V8 SuperCars) the other day at Phillip Island....

One is Nathan Assalit. Not sure if he drives as if his arse was on fire, as in Arsealight.... Given that the option is to be called an Arse-slit.

The other name is Paul Penisi. Is that the eye of the penis, or does he just look a bit penisey, in other words, look like a bit of a dick?

Re the plural of penis it would probably be be penii ..... actually it would be penes (based on Latin principles.)
On the basis of only latin nouns ending in xxxxius have xxxxii as the plural form.
Or so it was a long time ago when I was at school, in the times before they realised that, other than its usage in law, and certainly in my experience, people don't actually speak to each other in Latin an awful lot these days. Certainly not in Melbourne anyway.

Another one I forgot to mention from the Phillip Island V8 (not V8SC) meeting that was televised, was the winner of the final race.....

In a tight finish where 3 cars crossed the line side by side, with the commentator announcing excitedly that ''the winner was wanking". How odd I thought, on TV to, wondering who the driver actually was.

The winners name was then captioned on screen..... 'Wayne King'.
I guess that is a commentators equivalent of a 'wardrobe malfunction'.

I was looking through the riding mechanics pages at Champ Car Stats, and I found a couple of funny ones. Louis LeCocq (also a driver), Cowboy O'Rourke, and someone simply known as "Gay." Hahaha....

Also I found out who Dick Raper is.
