Bottom post of the previous page:
I would still put the MP4/8 above the best lotus. But I’m not going to die if you don’t.
I agree this was a great thread topic. We could do it with a variety of multiple champs. Fangio. Schumacher. Prost. It would be a fun discussion.

That is your personal list rather than what the forum discussed and agreed /suggested. (I think). Democracy and all that.

This was good, I was reading and following it, sorry I didn't have much time to contribute but I'll do my best on the next one!

Alright then, we have a final rank!
I made a little tweak based on the final few posts, which was to bump the TG184 up a place and the FW16 down one. I'm sure we will all be happy with that.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed the topic, we will take a little break before the next one, so I'll take some suggestions in the meantime

lol. No way the 1987 Lotus can be the second-worst car with which Ayrton raced. (I'm not even considering the Toleman 183 honestly).
On outright pace, the 1987 Lotus fell back compared to 86, but made up for it with reliability and some state-of-the-art technology.
I'd like Mansell to be next: an average driver made look good by solid machinery.

You can take part in the next one @Antonov.
Mansell is a good choice. I want to try with Clark and Fangio's cars as per John and Craig's suggestion, but I'm not sure we would personally know as much about them.

I'd be interested in seeing a Clark and Fangio discussion but I wouldn't be able to contribute.

Lauda had a range of different cars from the March 711/721 through to the Ferrari T2 with Brabham, BRM, McLaren. Over 20 cars to choose from though. I like the idea of Mansell and Clark as well.
At the end of the day it is an interesting topic to discuss regardless of who we choose.

Lauda is a good one too.
So, here's a list:
- Schumacher
- Mansell
- Prost
- Lauda
- Clark
- Fangio
Maybe we can do Lauda next as I think the discussion will be a little shorter than the Senna one.
