So I'd never seen these before until today - saw them on another forum without any explanation, and I don't know what the story is...
Surely there has to be a decent story, because would McLaren really have allowed this to happen without batting an eyelid? I know it was a different time, but still. Surely not these days! Or is it just a fake? Too many questions...
Warning:not safe for work, or in front of your wife - nekkid women - and one James Simon Wallis Hunt - ahead.
Hopefully all these links work. In any case.
Feel free to delete if against forum rules. And if not, God knows where this belongs...
@Antonov, you're welcome.
Oscar Piastri in F1! Catch the fever! Vettel Hate Club. Life membership.
Clearly not a promo for the Brazilian GP.
I did not realise they had F-ducts and wing flaps back in those days.
Actually to be serious for a second I have a feeling it was something to do with a (Playboy?) Magazine shoot.
It really was not frowned upon back in the day for GP drivers to be photographed with naked / semi naked women crawling over them. Before Health and Safety got involved, and showing any flesh became sexist and demeaning. Happy Days.
This one was a promo for the Brazilian GP in 1986. Nelson Piquet with a Brazilian girl. Or is it girl with a Brazilian and Piquet

It's less so the having women all over him part that I find intriguing, but rather having the car (with sponsors) there. Makes it look like a fully official thing (and hence wondering if there's a nice story behind it).

Back in those days it was perfectly acceptable for women to pose naked for promo stuff, as said this was probably something for Playboy (or possibly one of the British pornos), they were quiet heavily into racing back then and contrary to popular (uninformed) opinion these girls never felt exploited or whatever the favourite buzz word is this week, some of them would make a sailor blush.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
If this is the case, you may click here to solve the problem, or alternatively here too.

Hehehe dont I know it. Back in 1974/5 I was working with Mazda's BTTC \ETC and Production Saloons Touring cars for John Markey ...... his wife Wendy used to drive an RX3 sponsored by Penthouse. We had a Penthouse branded van and the Penthouse Pets would be on hand.
Penthouse of course went on to sponsor Hesketh (post Hunt) in F1 and they had BMW R90S motorcycles for London’s Gus Kuhn, a Formula Atlantic Lola, Formula 5000 Alfa Romeos, and more.
