All news regarding this Swedish GP stem from April 1st, 2000. Not entirely sure it wasn't an april fools joke.

Mittsverigebanan also has a new website: https://www.mittsverigebanan.nu/

Thanks, I'll make a note of it. Let us know if you find anything more about the project/joke.

This raises an interesting question though, how early in the development should circuits be included? So far I only made one page for a WIP track and that was more by accident.

I've uploaded the preliminary version of Circuit Paul Ricard to the server. I still need to implement the zoom function and the Kart track page, but the main circuit should be done. If you click on the image you'll get to the circuits page, I'd appreciate someone else taking a look over it for the inevitable error that creeps in when you got ~840 different layouts.

Maybe, it should be mentioned that Nevskoye Koltso, Russian racing circuit located in Sankt-Peterburg, was closed on 20 August 2006 due to demolishing of Kirov Stadium located nearby track and construction of Krestovsky Stadium which took a solid part of circuit so Nevskoye Koltso, presumably, will never host racing again. It still listed as active in database.

 Thanks, I'll update the listing once I get around to update the listing with Paul Ricard.

Since the DB was the last updated in mid 2005 there should be several circuits that have gone inactive over the years. I'll updated the listings when I update the tracks page which is my major focus for now.

Feel free to post in here if you find changes to tracks or new ones not in the DB. I know of several new ones in Russia that are not in the DB, but its always good to have other on the lookout too.

Fixed Neva Rings status and linked Paul Ricard into the French track index.

Hehehe I have competed there myself many times. Easy to do from a changes POV because it is (or always used to claim to be) the oldest unaltered motor sport venue in the world, dating back to about the very early 1900's with exactly the same layout.

That should come in handy when trying to make sense of all those 50cc tracks in the Benelux countries. Thanks EG.

Hey @Michkov, we've had an email submission providing a full update for the Anderstorp track. It fits the conventions of the website perfectly. Can I forward you the email?
