So, it could be any of the 3,231,825 bends of an alpine hill climb in the monochrome era?

I'll make just a single guess: Klausen

You are already on the correct country.

There are also extra points for car and driver... Unfortunately I don't have much information about him.. maybe someone can help.

Man, I killed the topic - that wasn't my intention.

The driver is Adolfo / Adolphe Mandirola. I have almost no information about him... private Maserati driver from Geneve. Born around 1905. Drove from 1937 to the mid 1950s and died in 1958/59.
Does anybody have more on him?

It is Adolpho Mandirola at the Majola hillclimb in 1947. He was a swiss Maserati driver from Geneve. Not much is known about him.

Ok, Never had I heard of Mandirola nor the Majola hillclimb. Your choice was too advanced for us illiterate peasants (except a certain M. Ferner of course). :rip:
Was the competition only held until the early 1950s?

Have fun:

Mosport penultimate turn?`

@sebbbl Majola isn't in the Track database, so thanks for the map. Do you have more info on it? Like years run, length, maybe Lat/long :D

At first view i would say Nürburgring - Aremberg. But i can't remember Aremberg being a spectators place.
