I had to google that one and found it very difficult even with the significance of that very photograph. Me being of course someone who doesn't know much about the history of the US ovals. Good one. Didn't know the track was built that early.

Note two famous cars in that picture, the first two tube-frame Sprint cars ever built. Still "in the white" is the famous #98 junior in its very first race. The other is the Hal Cole Kurtis Sprinter in its second race; half a year later it even ran at Indianapolis, the last time Sprint cars were still allowed to run there.
