Has anyone got this game? I've been looking at the screenshots on www.grandprixgames.org, and it looks amazing  (Well, with the latest mods ;)).

My friend has the game, is it worth borrowing and playing?

Yes, I have. I bought a second hand copy about 2 weeks ago. I 'Played' it once & have not played it again. I think it's the most utter dose of sh*t going around.

Borrowing for sure, but not buying. Although I bought mine for $15~ & it was'nt a fortune, I think it was a waste of money.

I play GP3 alot & that game is fantastic. I've recently updated my graphics card software & it makes the game extreme realistic it's even more fun to drive.

I've also been downloading some of the mods at: grandprixgames.org which include liveries for the different years & such, & it's quite spectacular. The A.I has also increased & the game is so much more challenging & realistic that I dont have any need to buy a new F1 game for quite a while. When the new track & team liveries/art come out, I'll just download it from there & update my GP3 game with it.

GP3 is such a great game with smooth graphics it's really fun. When I "Played" GP4 it was all blockly, & the realism was'nt there. It was a shame because I had such high expectations of that game & now it's sitting on my shelf above my computer gathering dust.

The choice of wether to buy it or not is your, but if I had my time again, I would'nt

I've now got Grand Prix 4. What patches do I need to start off? I'd like to modify it as well  What programs do I need? Can anyone give me a site with some good links on it?

I got it a year ago. I play it hardly because I don't get the fuck*** game pad to work.

I prefer every now and then a quick game with STCC 2. Easy, boring but cool! :haha:

I had a funny moment on GP4 a few minutes ago. Looks similar to the crash of Albers.

On purpose perhaps?
***Some say you should live each day like it was your last... but who wants to live each day in wild panic and extreme death anxiety?

The universe, look at the hugeness of it... it is a dizzying thought that little ol' me is the centre of it all!***

Yep. I drove the Albers car, I slowed down in the Villeneuve corner so Ide tried to overtake me on the inside. I kept the racing line and then it was the crash :haha:

Its £25 on Amazon, i dont know whether or not to buy it, as what if it doesnt work, i would be buying 2nd hand. I can get it cheaper off ebay, but i dont trust ebay. What are peoples experiences of Amazon? Any problems?

Nothing wrong with ebay really. As yet, I've not had a sale that's gone pear shapped. Give it a go

BTW, 25 pounds is abit much. I only paid $14 (Australian) for my copy, which would be around 8 pounds (Roughly).
