Hi guys, I'd like to ask whether anyone had played/tested the Racing 300 sim.
It looks promising I have to say but unfortunately I do not get its linux distribution run under my Ubuntu 18.04 installation and since I've no Winblows anymore, I've wondered whether anyone else has tried it.
I chatted with one of its creators in English over my installation issues but unfortunately they couldn't help either. The website is in Czech only though but the download button is quite easy to find. It contains a bunch of continental European real road racing circuits but the bike models look a bit like those car models used in Racer a decade or so ago.
But it is free so well worth a go. http://racing300.wixsite.com/horice

i have a linux laptop, but i could not get it running either.
It runs on Win 10 but before installing i needed to shut Win defender. Game looks like a late 90's game. You can use keys, but a wheel and pedals would be much better.
Setting up the wheel is the biggest problem. There is no default setting.

Yeah, that's why I referred to the game/sim 'racer' from a decade or so agoerwin greven wrote: ↑5 years ago i have a linux laptop, but i could not get it running either.
