Urgh. You’ve come to a forum on the web to ask a question that can be found by doing a simple Google search on going on the official GT website.

Like this response, do you not realize how utterly redundant your use of time and this question is?

@Antonov - GT was recently updated again, with another 5-6 circuits added plus more cars including the 2017 Mercedes F1 car.

Have you bought it yet?

NOTICE

The GT Sport September update includes the Fuji Speedway.

I thought @PTRACER and perhaps also @kals should know.

One of my favourite tracks

I am enjoying GT Sport plentifully! Already at level 6 :twothumbs:

I am having trouble to get anywhere near the podium, however, on the Sunday Cup events

GT Sport is incredible fun and really competitive.

Multiplayer is an example of how these sims should work. It almost never lags or disconnects.

I really like the idea of having a rating for how shit you are and how much you respect others, although it's very easy to get bumped down the rating. I lost my A rating ages ago, mostly because getting bumped off the track by other drivers still penalises you!

Thanks to a Black Friday offer, I bought a years subscription to PlayStation Plus so can now race online. When are we going to recreate Lienz Evening Racers?

Long time no post here...
I've got most of the individual events done (Arcade, Circuit Experience, and Missions), but have yet to try the online head to head stuff. How many of you are online with this game? I'd like to try my hand against you. BTW, I just turned level 30. Is that average or behind the times of most online racers?

I find the PC races (Sunday cup etc..) not very challenging as long as you have an equivalent car (the historic races are the most challenging because you are trying against some $2M+ historic cars).

It seems like Project Cars is the least favourite game here. Does anyone own PC2?

Really? Is it that bad?

Also, could you do me a massive favour relating to the game?

PC2 was an improvement in most areas on PC. However, like any sim that tries to be the jack of all trades, it pulls off some cars better than others, which for me devalued the whole package as I much prefer the opposite. Also, due to this, things like transmission models are flawed. So if you have both an h-shifter and paddles, you can use either for every car. So here I am going from 5th to 2nd in a freakin F1 car like it's a NASCAR lol. In the same vein, no proper gearbox modelling so even cars that required manual clutch or at least a well-timed lift or blip to shift or downshift in real life can be shifted flatout. Online, 90% of the servers were GT3 since those seem to be the best modelled anyway.

Of course, PC3 finally gave up all ambitions of being a sim but it's no Forza or Gran Turismo either.
