I was not fond of all the old F1 titles but f12017 is a great game with great physics

Just got this game for my PS4 for Christmas. I have been playing with the Classic cars on some of the easier tracks just to get used to it. It's a bit different from the GT series physics but far better than the older F1 games (I think the last one I played was 2005).
Also picked up a Logitech G29 (but no manual shifter yet).
Is the Career mode the best part of this game? The one-off races are fun enough for someone without a great deal of time to put in.
